                                    MAN TECHNIQUES 
  
   ON MAN or Bump & Run


 

ALIGNMENT:                     
Head-up, feet parallel, thumb-up
 
KEY:                                   Receiver’s Torso
 
RESPONSIBILITY:             Disrupt route timing  (interception / PBU)
 
-                     Be very bold (attitude) WR defeated by alignment
-                     DON’T LUNGE!!!
-                     Get jam on receiver (on-side) release side  and stay even with him
-                     Bump Games
-                     Buzz-out (quick duck-hops & pedals out) Be  ready (for under-cut) to head whip when WR crosses your face
-                     Read WR’s release and torso, shoulder and hips come down (sink)  get ready to break or explode to cut-off
-                     Use Angle Rules for cut-off points
-                     Bump & Run  envites fade route by WR
-                     Close all green with the WR
-                     Stay low to defeat push-off
-                     Know the 3 Cover Points for the fade route
-                     Read WR’s  Eyes for ball arrival,to Hands for location
-                     If WR shows you both shoulders, under thown ball, play Hands 1st
